Kairos management at the household level

Greetings In this publication we will talk about how Kairos management can be useful in everyday life. After all, professional activity is only a part of our reality. Successes in other areas of life are no less important for a person. Once again I remind you that Kairos management is the ability to find favorable opportunities or create them yourself. It is not even a technique or technique, but a whole way of thinking, aimed at success and helping the environment to bring you benefits.

Where in life can be useful Kairos management?

Everyday life is full of all kinds of tasks and challenges. From finding a good plumber, to homework or receiving guests. Always not enough time. As luck would have it, something breaks at a completely inappropriate moment, forcing him to look for a master in a stressful environment. Regularly come across stupid performers, after which you have to redo everything.

Why it happens? Obviously not due to a lack of knowledge in time management. Here it is rather a matter of a poor understanding of the possibilities of one’s environment. How many friends do you have? And how many friends do they have? How many professionals and craftsmen can you potentially know? Most likely, for all occasions! Then why don't you know them? Meeting another acquaintance on the street, what do you know about this person? Who does he work for, what has he achieved?

Very often, people can meet and spend the night in the kitchen or bar, discussing Aristotle’s metaphysics or Hegel’s cosmology with a glass of beer, while not even bothering to find out who the interlocutor works with. But, as a specialist, he can be even more promising than a drinking companion.

In the 21st century, this is often the case because of excessive trust in the Internet. Why try and search for someone if you can enter a request and find the right contact? This is the main evil of the Internet - because it is a big cesspool. They advertise there all and sundry.

It is unlikely that any plumber-plumber will write about himself "Hereditary handle and a chronic alcoholic will undertake to perform plumbing work of any complexity, just to earn a bottle." Most likely there will be an advertisement like "Professional plumber to clean all the pipes."

Someone can parry, because there are comments from people who were happy to turn to the master and now publicly express their opinions about the quality of his work. I hasten to cool the ardor. Bad comments are often left by competitors, and good comments by friends and comrades. Believe these reviews are no smarter than the inscriptions on the fence.

So "word of mouth" does not lose its relevance in our time. If someone from a good acquaintance recommends the performer, then it is more likely that his recommendation will be true.

You can stock up on useful phones in advance by compiling your own directory of useful contacts. How to do it better, let's talk further.

Handbook of useful contacts and Kairos management

Although the human mind is measured by terabytes, it is still better to transfer useful information to external media. Moreover, I strongly recommend the paper version. The abundance of gadgets allows you to produce all this in the virtual world, but the "manuscripts do not burn," but any program can fly off in a second.

An improvised reference book should be divided into the most popular sections of the type “repair”, “health”, “state services”, “press”, “business”, etc. Each of them is divided into its subsections. For example, "repair" may include repair of a refrigerator, television, plumbing, etc. Then, the person analyzes in advance and looks for suitable contacts among his acquaintances. This can be done according to the principle of networking - the establishment of long-term business relationships. Who cares, the essence of this method can be found in any thematic article.

Drawing up such a reference book will not take much effort, but if necessary, the search time will be significantly reduced. And this is a huge plus, because in a hurry a person grabs at every opportunity, not always managing to analyze the quality of the service, the adequacy of its price and the professionalism of the performer. And, as you know, redoing is much worse than doing once and everything is correct. So, living on the principle of "you want peace, prepare for war", a person is able to protect himself from many sorrows and disappointments.

Kairos management and simple truths

It will seem to someone that I describe well-known things, but the longer I take up training and consulting activities, the more I realize the fact that sometimes people need to be reminded of the most banal basics. Very often it turns out that in the language we are all geniuses, but when it comes to the realization of our knowledge, we fake it so much that it’s wonderful itself.

For example, to criticize someone else's advertisements all the whale. But, trying to advertise something ourselves, we abruptly become "inhabitants of another planet", completely divorced from the consumer. We begin to evaluate the advertising product from the “like / dislike” positions, as if forgetting that it is not us who look at it, but our target audience.

Why it happens? It is because of the devil-may-care and superficial attitude to banal truths. Turning into advertisers, we forget that the consumers themselves. Becoming a writer, we overlook the fact that the readers themselves. Trying our strength in politics, we kind of dispel the thoughts that voters themselves are.

Thus, in my articles not only original ideas are described, but well-known facts that are often overlooked are actualized.

In the next article, we will look at the Kaizen Japanese teaching, which originated and became widespread in the middle of the last century. Having recently become acquainted with Kaizen philosophy, I discovered common points with my concept, which formed Kairos management. So, let's not blame the Japanese for “plagiarism”, but just get acquainted with the strengths of both exercises.
