10 ways to learn to respect yourself


In order to truly enjoy life and be a truly happy person, you need to respect and appreciate yourself. But the modern world dictates its own stereotypes and rules, which undermines self-confidence in many people. If you want to succeed in modern society, you need to know how to learn to respect yourself and appreciate.
Many people know that the truth of life is that if you yourself do not respect yourself, respectively, and the people around you will not treat you with respect. Many know, but a minority use it in their lives.

Think about what you like to do the most and how you can make money on it. If the main source of income becomes a favorite thing that will bring pleasure and satisfaction, the question of how to learn to respect yourself will become irrelevant for you.
Environment. Take a good look around, evaluate the people with whom you communicate. Is there no person in this environment with whom you hate to communicate? If the answer is in the affirmative, then try to reduce your communication to a minimum, or completely abandon it, you need nothing negative emotions.
Promise. Try to keep all promises given to yourself, especially if it concerns your desires or goals. If you are not sure that you can keep a promise, then do not promise. Remember that with each promise fulfilled your self-esteem rises, and with it respect for yourself.
Comparison Never, under any circumstances, compare yourself with other people, especially with those who are doing better than yours. You can analyze the qualities of this person, actions or life principles and learn something useful from him, but do not compare yourself with him.
Past. In the end, say goodbye to your past, especially for insults and unpleasant situations. Forgive in the soul all your offenders, wish them good luck in their minds and release them in peace. As long as the past holds you, you cannot fully enjoy the present and look into a bright and beautiful future.
