How to quit smoking yourself if there is no willpower


Despite the huge pile of articles and books on the Internet on the topic of combating smoking, on various proposals and miracle methods for throwing tobacco “habits”, I still decided to write about this article. I will try to briefly describe why there is no point in smoking, and, in principle, quitting smoking is no more difficult than giving up a pill from the head called “Citramon”.

If this comparison seemed strange to you, then you can be understood. Simply, we have not been subjected to intense “brainwashing” since childhood in order to drink Citramon in the future. As for cigarettes, young children from birth see how parents, their friends, heroes of TV shows, etc., smoke, and the child gradually concludes that smoking is in principle a normal thing for society. (If everyone fanatically drank Citramon - now we would see these pills on every shelf in any store). But let's get to the point.
Further, when this child grows up, he tries his first cigarette, which seems to him simply disgusting. However, tobacco, and in particular, nicotine, is a drug; therefore, a person gradually begins to depend on these substances, but he himself is not aware of this. A few years later, he is already becoming a heavy smoker, fully believing that without cigarettes his life will be incomplete!
That's what all heavy smokers think. However, in this case, just want to ask them a question - that is, your life was inferior until you started smoking? But on the contrary - before the man was addicted to smoking, he did not need cigarettes at all. If you are a smoker, then try now to imagine that your life will be inferior without a dose of heroin. Do you think this is a silly comparison? But heroin addicts believe that without a dose they will simply die. Just like you probably think about cigarettes. Doesn't all this seem strange to you, and at the same time to some extent logical?
The thing is that any drug “makes” you think that without it entering your body, you will feel like you are not at ease. However, it is worth stopping to use this drug once and for all, and you will no longer need it, after a certain period of withdrawal
Smokers think it will be an unbearable period where they will experience pain and discomfort. All this is a real nonsense. If, during the disengagement, to think “Every second I become even freer, and my body is cleared of deadly poisons”, then the process of quitting smoking will be very easy and easy. And after only one week you will have practically no need for cigarettes, and after another 2 weeks you will be surprised how you smoked so much time before.

Based on this, quitting smoking is very easy.


If it seems to you that without cigarettes you cannot relax, relieve stress, relax, get “real pleasure” after eating, coffee and tea, just remember that you did it all perfectly before you started smoking. And coped with stress, and relaxed, and drank tea, completely without thinking about cigarettes.
I hope I convinced you that there is no point in smoking, and the only reason why you smoke is ... that you smoke! Stop smoking and you will no longer want it. But do not just mechanically stop doing this, but also ask yourself a question, that since you didn’t need cigarettes how you started smoking, then why do you need them now? I think your sincere response will surprise you greatly.

Many smokers have postponed the decision to read the book for years, and after this reading they almost cursed themselves for not starting to read it before. However - the choice is yours.
And I wish you to look at things realistically and at cigarettes as well. And draw from this the necessary and rational conclusions.
