What does it mean to be yourself?

What does it mean to be yourself?

Hearing the advice "be easier, be yourself", our contemporary can take it literally. To be simple is to say what you think? To be yourself is to follow only the call of your ego? If everything were exactly like this, then our already injured society would go over for jogging overnight. And people would run straight to loneliness and degradation.

Self-inquiry or self-acquaintance

Simplicity is not accessibility, transparency, and low IQ. This is a stage of spiritual development in which a person has no difficulty in communicating with himself or in contact with society. Of course, if he lacks education, tact, and in dialogue with people this person uses rudeness, foul language and disrespect for the interlocutor, then this is not simplicity, but rudeness.
It is about spiritual simplicity, sincere communication without tricks, tricks and manipulation. A simple person says what he thinks, but in his mind there is a clear scale of values that does not allow to humiliate and use others.
The "right" simplicity is recognized immediately. Many saints had this character trait, this way of life. They always opened up to their students, fellow citizens with the goal of transferring knowledge, support, help. Without thinking about profit, fame or recognition. Ordinary people know how to choose such a mood for life, being in that, they are harmonious with the whole world and with themselves.
Man-made environment complicates things. Being simple is a flaw in the modern sense. Such people want to deceive, use, offend, make fun of them. And so psychologists are taught to be easier alone with themselves, but to build a serious defense, going out into the world.
Be simple - It means to be honest with yourself, loyal and even humble. This model of behavior improves the "quality of life", frees from perfectionism, feelings of guilt, inferiority. In combination with spiritual movement and work on oneself, this gives very good results.
I am sincere, I do not seem, I am!
To be youreself - It is to be a solid, harmonious person who lives his life, and not the life of the system. Such a person has not only the awareness of life, but also the ability to make it the way he wants. In all spheres of existence, sincere people follow their own path, no matter how strange it may seem to society.
They work at their favorite work, regardless of her status and payment. They do not grumble and do not make temporary arrangements with the soul, do not look for compromises, but accept life as it is. If she does not like it, they change it. The majority of the population does not feel joy from working, from personal, family relationships, or from self-communication. Virtual communication, social networks, television, attitudes and clothespins of society - all this alienates people from their essence.
A person who is aware of himself and controls his life, strives for the harmony of the soul and mind, and therefore, strives to be himself.
There is nothing wrong with accepting your own shortcomings, recognizing bad emotions, freeing yourself from other people's rules, habits, goals. You can be an honest, purposeful, free person in any society. One has only to want and start working in this direction.
