27 Ways to Develop Creativity

Creativity is associated with new ideas, interpretations and methods. You ponder something and use the results. Creativity can and should be developed throughout life. This is especially true of teachers working with preschoolers. Your creative example will stimulate the creative manifestations of your students.
Regardless of whether your imagination is developed or not, look for ways that inspire you. Pay attention to when you are most creative, what conditions you need for this. Below you will find several ways to help you be creative:

Tasks that will help develop creativity.

1 Read the first ten pages of the gutter novel. Complete this story yourself.
2 Laying napkins on the dining table, fold them into fancy shapes.
3 Sitting in the transport, notice the license plates of neighboring cars, sum up the numbers without a piece of paper, translate the result into a square, and then divide by seven.
4 Watch TV with the sound turned off and try to understand what is happening on the screen. Make up your story.
5 Cut out a few photos from magazines: drawings separately, captions for them separately. Shuffle everything and distribute captions to caricatures at random. Anything interesting?
6 Daily open the dictionary at random and read the whole page, with examples.
7 The next time you have to get into an unfamiliar city, do not take a map with you. Read road signs and signposts. Try to determine which local can ask the way.
8 Come up with a new dish of leftovers that can be collected in the refrigerator, and stocks stuck in the nooks of the kitchen cabinets.
9 Read something learned by heart, but from the end.
10 Satisfy your curiosity. If you are interested in something, look in reference books, call someone, ask.
11 Remember and list in writing all the items of clothing that are hanging in your closet in the bedroom.
12 View any ad in a magazine or newspaper. Think about what you would have improved in its graphic design? Come up with a new advertising slogan for this product. Suggest a better business name.
13 If your pet is simply called Tuzik, Murka or Bug, try to come up with a new name that is more appropriate for him. Try experimenting with adjectives or verbs.
14 List as many words as possible ending with the letters "ция".
15 Make a brief summary of the story from some literary and artistic magazine.
16 Set goals and draw up an action plan for the next five years regarding something serious: career, raising a child, growing a garden or sorting tattered clothes in the basement.
17 Even if at first you don’t like it, force yourself to do crossword puzzles, anagrams and other puzzles in a newspaper.
18 Learn to play games that require a strategy, such as chess.
19 Sing along the radio in the car. Try to sing in unison.
20 Return home from work now on a new route. Measure the time. Compare with that spent on the old way.
21 How many different uses will you find for a toothbrush? (For example, catch socks from the sink, tickle friends, brush the cat. And two toothbrushes can be used as Chinese chopsticks.) Stay sweet for the night, if you can only say: "To brush your teeth."
22 Set the brightness of your TV screen to minimum and try to understand what is happening just by the sound.
23 Try to write a text in which each new word begins with the next letter of the alphabet (for example: "Watermelons There are Any ...").
24 Open the dictionary and select a word at random. Try to come up with a pun. Or an anagram. Or the key phrase (zest) for a humorous story.
25 Get a notebook. Many ideas come to your mind, but you will simply forget them if you do not write them down. It is not necessary to write down ideas in a notebook, it can be anything that is always with you, for example, a PC or a mobile phone.
26 Choose the most comfortable environment for creativity. Someone works with music (classical music and jazz is the most popular choice), while others prefer complete silence. Also pick up and lighting. Who exactly is creative in the sun, and who is in the twilight.
27 Do not sit at home. Take a notebook, notebook, MP3 player and go outside. Do not sit at home all day, breathe the fresh air!
