Interests. Narrowing the range of interests in real life, no interest in communicating with friends, in a hobby. Books, embroidery, hobbies fade into the background and do not cause as much interest as before.
Irritability. A person who spends a lot of time on the Internet and if it managed to turn into dependence, often experience irritability and aggressiveness, especially at the moment when they are trying to distract from this activity.
Entertainment. Now on the first place are online games, not active leisure with friends, forums, blogs and social networks, but not real meetings with friends.
Dating. People who are beginning to “go head over to the head” in the Internet space are starting to start a conversation and sometimes even relationships in the virtual world. This problem takes place in couples, when one of the partners becomes dependent on dating sites and a virtual partner, which can lead to the breakup of the family. It all starts with the banal phrase "Hello. How are you?", But it can turn into a serious virtual relationship, with the exchange of photos, sometimes intimate, by video link.
These are just some of the symptoms, but if you notice at least one symptom in yourself or in a child, then you should think about how to get rid of Internet addiction.
It is necessary to determine the degree of Internet addiction, and then take action. How strong this dependence can be determined independently, but it is better to contact a psychologist. Also, if you see that you spend a lot of time on the Internet and this does not have a positive effect on your life, then you should get rid of this habit, especially if it also affects your well-being and state of health.
