5 myths about happiness

Have you ever thought that your beliefs about happiness can be false? In your life, for sure, there are many myths about happiness that do not allow you to be a happy person or realize that you are a happy person. Let us dwell on the most common myths about human happiness that you must eradicate from your life.

1. The feeling of happiness depends on time.
Are you all waiting for happiness to come to your life? Do you think that in the near future you will find happiness and that moment will come?
In this case, it all depends on the person who expects happiness to find it. Someone thinks that he will be happy after retirement, someone thinks that the new work will bring joy, someone even plans his happiness, starting it from Monday or the new year.
You can search for many reasons and excuses for why you are still not one of those people who are truly happy. The point is not that the time has not come yet, but that you are in a state of expectation.
You may be upset now, but happiness does not depend on time and this myth can be safely excluded from your life. Understand that in the present tense, today and now you are a happy person who simply does not notice it or does not want it.
2. Happiness depends on the situation or event.
Many people confuse the positive moment with the feeling of happiness. A person cannot be happy only for a while if he is already learned to be happy always man. Therefore, for example, marriage, the birth of a child, a successful career, the end of the university, are not happiness, but only positive moments in your life.
Perhaps, if there are more such events in your life, you will feel like a happy person, but soon you will realize that pleasant memories remain from events, and the feeling of happiness never leaves a person and lasts forever.
3. Happiness depends on financial stability.
Of course, a financially secure person has more opportunities than the one who has an average level of income. But what's stopping you from being a happy person and becoming successful, while earning more money and expanding your opportunities. Again excuses. Is it not better to start enjoying life today while you are still young and full of energy, or have grandchildren, regardless of this. Or do you really need a five-room apartment for happiness? Even in such an apartment you will suffer from the fact that something is missing for you, if you do not learn to enjoy life now.
4. Happiness depends on external factors.
External factors can be many things, ranging from buying a bar of chocolate and ending with the birth of a child. Happiness must go from within and must be an inner state, a state of the soul.
If you are unhappy deep inside, then a temporary feeling of happiness from external circumstances, if it makes you happy, but only temporarily. Therefore, work on yourself and stop thinking that there are circumstances around and people are preventing you from being happy, no one can forbid you.
5. Fight against the negative.
Every day people struggle with stress, problems, fears and anxieties. Thinking that the fewer problems you have and when you finally get rid of the problems, you will become a happy person. Unfortunately, it does not happen that there are no problems at all. There is only a different attitude towards them from the person. Someone takes them seriously, someone more than, and someone lightly. If you treat the problem as a temporary event, then it will be easier to live. Therefore, dream more often, write down goals and concentrate your attention only on what is really important for you and what brings you a feeling of joy, freedom and satisfaction.
