How to stop wasting time

In order to constantly move forward, while working on several projects at once, you need to invest a lot of time. If you also have a permanent job, then there is practically no time for something else. But it is extremely necessary! If you have a family, then donating them for some kind of ghost work is generally not possible.

In fact, time can be allocated to all critical needs. You can have time to work on a permanent job, devote time to your own projects and at the same time leave enough space for families, children, socializing with friends and going to the cinema and picnics together.
But sometimes there are very vile moments in life that devour the time that could be given to work, your own projects, family or friends. They do not do any good. But to avoid them is almost impossible.
These are moments of inactivity.
These are the moments when you are viewing the mailbox for the third time, although you did it only 5 minutes ago. Your only goal is not to finally start writing a report that has been hanging over you for a week now.
Or, when you are annoyed or unbalanced by some unpleasant event - again you cannot concentrate on really important things, instead of engaging in self-flagellation, you scroll a certain situation in your mind for the hundredth time. Sense from this - round zero. But you come back again and again to events that concern you, forgetting what really matters.
It also happens when there is only fifteen minutes left until a certain planned event (of any key moment of the day). Instead of using this time for important things (for example, to finalize a report or to write three more paragraphs of your large article that you plan to publish in a month) - you just kill this time.
Imagine the situation, you are waiting for the start of a grand party in honor of your birthday. Guests will come at five. All day long in the morning you run, cook, clean and decorate the room. Lay the table. Iron the clothes and finally dress to the reception. And when everything is ready - the room is cleaned, the table is laid, and you are waiting for the first guest in a new holiday outfit, then, looking at the clock, you suddenly notice that half an hour is left before the action begins. Could you do useful things in this half hour (and add the same report, for example)?
Willpower and self-control.
Although in fact, talk about these categories is much easier than to put them into practice. Because it is very easy to say: “You shouldn’t waste time looking at e-mail.” And what if the hand itself is trying to check the box. It is very easy to say: "Do not let irritation or extraneous thoughts distract you from what was planned." And what, how does it take your breath away from excitement, or did something really terrible happen?
So far, the answer to these questions, there is only one - self-control and willpower. This is the only way to at least try to “show the door” to “time eaters” who take away the most important thing from you - the only irreversible resource.
