How to become an optimist - 6 rules optimists

People who are optimistic about life are generally healthier and more productive than their pessimistic peers. Statistics show that optimists are less sick and live longer.
Optimism is not an innate trait. This is a skill that you can learn. Here are some of the characteristic features that are endowed with "real" optimists.

1. They make optimum use of all available options.
Many of us are extremely annoyed by "very optimistic" people. In most cases, these people are idealists, and do not confuse them with optimists. Optimists are not people who turn a blind eye to the realities of life. They simply believe in the optimal use of all available options. In other words optimist is just a positive realist .
For comparison: The idealist focuses solely on the best aspects of the situation, and ignores the negative to the detriment of reality, the pessimist sees no possibilities at all, and the optimist seeks to consider all the available options in order to choose the best.
2. Optimists respect themselves for their own essence.
Remember childhood. We ran, jumped, sang, danced and did not pay attention to the opinions of those around us. We didn’t need to constantly assert ourselves, because deep down we knew that we were unique. But as we grew, peers and the media influenced us and we began to compare ourselves with other people.
And when we realized that many people have something that we don’t have, we stopped appreciating what we already have. Optimists, unlike other people, trust their own intuition when it comes to daily activities. They do what the heart tells them and do not expect approval from other people. These people let go of ideals and continue to believe in their own beliefs.
3. They separate happiness from achievement.
In order to become an optimist, we must be generally satisfied with our lives. We will have to seek this satisfaction within ourselves. Finally, happiness is internal work. If you seek happiness outside of yourself, and tie it to specific achievements, for example, a car, a house, then you may have two significant problems:
  1. You may never succeed. If you feel that something is wrong with you, then you will continuously search for something. In that case, you
    you will never know peace.
  2. You will succeed, and decide that you want more. When you find something that does not satisfy you exactly in yourself and correct it, you have an overwhelming desire to search for new flaws in the future. This is an endless cycle for your whole life, because there are no people without flaws.

4. Optimists avoid negatively-minded people, and create positive
If you spend a lot of time with negative people, then there is a chance that you will not learn moments of joy with them. Do yourself a favor, and avoid those people who upset you with their negative. Surround yourself with positive, positive people who will support you emotionally.
Optimism is an easy habit to catch.. Do good to those people who surround you. The bottom line is that life is too short to spend on people who do not appreciate you.
5. Optimists know that life is a series of ups and downs.
The fact that you are an optimist does not mean at all that you will not have bad days. They will, and this is reality. Life is not a simple matter. Optimists are aware of this, and still believe in the best, and move in front despite the difficulties in their lives.
6. Body language is also important.
Your smile improves your mood. When you feel depressed, your brain tells your face that you are sad and the muscles in your face relax, but you can deceive your own body by smiling at the moment when you are sad. Send positive signals to your own brain and see how quickly your mood improves.
Findings:
Only you can decide in what direction your life will run. You cannot change the circumstances, but you can reconsider your own attitude towards them.
