Prophetic Dreams: Why They Dream and What They Mean

Sometimes we do not attach any importance to dreams until the event that we have had before is embodied in real life. And only then do we begin to realize that it was a prophetic dream that warned us about the danger or, on the contrary, predicted success in any business. But how do you know beforehand that a particular dream is prophetic, and how to decipher it correctly?

To begin, let's try to understand why people dream of prophetic dreams? From the point of view of psychology, dreams are only a continuation of a person’s mental activity, but already at rest. And people during sleep experience their hidden desires and fears, which turn into certain signals and emerge in our dreams. And the fact that some dreams come true - it only means that our subconscious solution of this or that problem simply coincided with reality.

But the occult sciences say that prophetic dream is a sign from above that warns a person about something important. After all, it is not without reason that there are even special conspiracies and methods that allow people to dream about their future.

And astrologers altogether assume that the soul of a person connects to a certain information field during sleep, which contains information about the past, present and future. And that is why a person has different dreams, ranging from a distant childhood, and ending with what will happen in a distant future.

What are considered dreams prophetic?

Dreams are considered to be dreams whose events later occurred in real life, and they were not specifically provoked by man, and were also not known in advance. Suppose you dreamed that a distant relative, whom you had not seen for several years, suddenly came to visit you. And in fact, in the near future, he unexpectedly contacts you and reports the news that he plans to go to your city and also wants to meet with you. Obviously, this dream is prophetic.

And if the dream is associated with some event that depends on you, for example, you bought a new phone or called a friend for a walk, then it is not considered prophetic, even if it actually happens. After all, it turns out that you just provoke this situation.

In many sources, including in mythology, prophetic dreams can be divided into the following types:

  • the appearance of ghosts, divine messengers, angels, dead people;
  • prediction of fate, childbirth, death;
  • significant events occurring in the world (flood, hurricane, earthquake).

How to decipher a dream

Many dream books have been created that allow people to decipher their dreams.

But all these techniques are aimed at analyzing the subconscious, and to the full extent they are still not able to interpret this or that dream. After all, the same object can dream every person differently, and for someone it will be a signal of danger, and for someone, on the contrary, joy.

Therefore, first of all you should evaluate your emotions from the event that you dreamed. It often happens that the plot of a dream turns out to be pleasant, but for some reason after it you are covered by an incomprehensible feeling of panic. And, most likely, such prophetic dreams mean an unexpected danger.

And, on the contrary, positive emotions from a "bad" dream foreshadow good luck, despite possible difficulties. Also try to remember the details of the dream, because even a small detail, a brief phrase - may already be a hint for correct interpretation of the dream.

How to treat a dream

People who often have prophetic dreams begin to fear their consequences. In fact, you do not need to do this, and even if you dreamed a terrible event, for example, someone's death, accident or misfortune, then at least you have a chance to prevent it. The fate of people is not programmed in advance, so the prophetic dream is just a warning, and whether it will come true or not depends on your actions, if, of course, the dream is connected with you or your friends.

And do not forget that many, so to speak, prophetic dreams come true only because we ourselves model the dream situation into reality. Suppose you saw in a dream your dismissal from work, and from this you already begin to analyze the cause of the event. Your working capacity is falling, you are increasingly distracted from the tasks assigned to you, as you are afraid of the dreaming of your dreams.

But, alas, it will happen, because you are really too carried away with the analysis of your sleep, forgetting about work. Therefore, try not to perceive the prophetic dreams as a sentence, consider that this is just a warning or one of the possible results of a particular event.
