Family or career: what to choose?

With marriage and the birth of a child in the lives of many women, the question arises: how to combine a family, raising children and home care with a successful career and personal development? After all, according to the proverb about the pursuit of two hares, it would be better to devote yourself to something one. So what to do if you do not want to sacrifice either family or work? How to make the right choice: family or career?

For a start, it is worth remembering the main rule: everything has its time and place. Coming to the workplace, forget about all the household chores. Fully focus on the execution of planned tasks and do not distract yourself with thoughts about the family.

At the same time, at the end of the working day, learn to unload emotionally. Crossing the threshold of the house, leave behind all the problems associated with the labor schedule. In no case should not take work at home. She will take away the precious hours you can spend with your family.

In order to competently organize affairs, get yourself a diary. Paint your daily schedule in detail and follow each item consistently. All household chores (cleaning, washing dishes, pet care, etc.) are distributed among family members. This will not only help to free up some time, but also bring you closer to each other.

Share your career success with your husband and children. Well, if they will help and support you. After all, it is much easier to experience career ups and downs when a happy family awaits at home, whose support is a pledge of faith in their abilities and self-confidence.

As a rule, the man in relationships is the main one, and it is very important for him to feel himself a leader on all "fronts" - in the family, in his career, and in his hobbies. Therefore, if you, striving for success at work, feel that there is a rivalry between you and your husband, treat this sensibly. Praise him for what he does, let him make important decisions. This will help the man to realize their importance and maintain harmony in the relationship.

A great example of a combination of career and family is a family business, since your business partner will be the closest and reliable person you can always count on and trust.

Therefore, summing up, we can conclude that the family and work can and should be properly combined and you will not have to sacrifice either family well-being, career growth or self-realization. The main thing is to find a "middle ground", which will allow to pay due attention to both areas of life.
